Laura and Scott’s Family Mini Session in Vero Beach

I was so excited that Laura and Scott booked me for a mini session in Vero Beach! I know them from Calvary Chapel, and they were one of the first families I photographed as a professional photographer.

Laura and Scott are such a sweet couple. I always enjoy catching up with them and the kids, and we definitely had a blast during this mini session!

Our last session was probably five years ago, so it’s been a long time since I’ve seen all the kids in one place.

Ariana, Asher, and Abram are really growing up fast! I can’t believe how grown up they are.

One of mom’s priorities was to get individual shots of each kid, so we carved out a few minutes for each kid to step into the spotlight and strut their stuff.

Ariana is now 15 years old, and she’s becoming a beautiful young lady. I absolutely love her outfit!

Asher is just as handsome as ever, and a whopping 13 years old. Where has the time gone?? He’s now taller than his sister, which is so unreal to me.

Ten-year-old Abram stole the show with his broad smile and cheerful personality. Awesome job, you guys!

I also took plenty of family shots. Everyone followed my instructions so well, and I’m more than pleased with the results! Thanks so much for booking me, Laura and Scott! It was so much fun to catch up and update your family photos. I hope you love them as much as I do!

Durfee Family Mini Session

I took the Durfee family’s mini session photos at their gorgeous farm! Meet Tim, Niza, and their younger kids Joey, Aliah, Jon, and Timmy!

Their farm was the perfect place to photograph the family! There were so many different spots, from this pond to an old, wooden swing. The kids had a great time coming up with ideas! Jon is looking at a baby alligator in the pond…! It’s Florida :-)

During family sessions I have a list of images I work through. The whole family, mom & dad, just kids, and when time allows individual photos of the kids, and/or mom with kids and dad with kids. We started with Jon and his friendly pup! Jon rarely let this little guy out of his sight, and it was clear their bond was strong. Of course he had to get his individual portraits with man’s best friend!

At the time of this session, Aliah just turned fifteen with her twin, Joey. She looked so beautiful with french braids and a boho-inspired top!

Joey, in turn, did awesome! Sometimes it’s hard to know what to do with your hands, but I helped Joey figure out a couple ideas, like hands in his pockets! Within a minute or two, he was way more relaxed, and having fun, too!

Timmy chose to have his portraits taken at the swing! Bright-eyed and full of energy, his photos turned out very handsome!

Then, I took some pictures of the siblings together with the road in the background. What a cute photo, you guys!! We sure missed Jay, who is serving in the military now.

Wright Family Portrait Session

The Wright Family joined me for a Family Portrait Session at a park near the beach. It was so much fun to meet them!

Tara and Shane celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this August. Congratulations, you two! I wish you many more happy years together.

Tara is the director of The Buggy Bunch, which is a Christian organization supporting and empowering local moms through community and friendship. Check it out!

The Wright Family was so easy to photograph. They’re all so photogenic, and they had no problem following my posing prompts! Capturing this joy was the best!

Tara wanted several grouping shots, so we ran down her list to make sure we got everything she wanted! These are great to post on social media, print for the home, or even just to share with friends and family!

Baby Colton could not stop smiling, and I was living for it! I’m so glad that I got to capture him at this stage, with his cute baby teeth.

This session also marked Baby Colton’s first birthday! He was so adorable! Curious about my camera, he peeked up at me with the cutest expressions while perched on my wooden stool.

Of course, we needed to get some pics of Baby Colton with his aunt! He didn’t mind being passed around from one family member to the next. We kept his attention with silly faces, games, and funny sounds!

Congratulations on all of your happy milestones, Wright Family! It was a blessing to photograph you all. See you next time!

Beach Mini Sessions Part 1!

Yahoo! Every once in a while, I like to schedule short, 15-minute sessions. Believe it or not, mini sessions are an amazing way to have family photos for the Christmas Cards!

Rachel and the girls wasted no time! They were thrilled for their Beach Mini Session!

We started off with some beautiful portrait-style photos, some on the boardwalk and then some on the sand.

During mini sessions, we keep things running, but that doesn’t mean that portraits have to be boring! Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at the girls keeping Mom laughing!

After the portraits, we played tag on the beach, and got our feet wet too! The girls loved running around and playing in the sand. I loved all of the organic moments!

Beautiful session, you all! I’m thrilled that we captured so many amazing shots!

My next mini session was with Daniel and Madelina! They are so photogenic.

This time, we started off at the base of the sand dunes and then caught the amazing sunset sky. You both look so happy!

Amazing session, you guys! Keep jumping for joy!

Disney Family Session with the Clodi Family!

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Nope! It’s the Clodi Family who have come for a Beach Session at the Disney Resort!

Grampy Dave and Grammy LeAnn brought along their son Kyle, his wife Lauren, and their 20-month-old son son, Jett!

We decided to have the photography session during mid-morning hours since it was the best time for the little guy.

It was pretty sunny out, so we found some great shade around the Disney Resort.

As you can see, we definitely succeeded in capturing some joyful moments!

After that, it was time to play! We headed for the beach with a bucket of sand toys.

With Kyle as a makeshift umbrella, Jett didn’t have to worry about the sun while he played. Great job, Dad!

While they were busy, Grampy and Grammy stole a kiss! What a spectacular moment to have on camera!

It was special to photograph the Clodi family in a place that they treasure. In the end, the Clodi family loved all of their photos!

It was wonderful to meet you all! Have a safe trip home!
